Variety – the spice of life!

So the saying goes. And yep, June so far has certainly been a varied month for us, from photographing at a dentist surgery; the aforementioned dog show; a lovely wedding at Silks in Romsey; the pupils in the grounds at a local school, and of course lots of studio shoots; not to mention socially (yes, I do manage a little social life!) with visits to Guildford and Alresford to see family and friends, and for good measure a little decorating thrown in at home painting the hall and upstairs landing.  Hence life has taken over a bit thus the delay with this latest post!

It’s been good fun, and we’ve met some lovely people! Busy time coming up too, with a couple shoot at Mottisfont soon, really looking forward to that one. It’s amazing there, a photographer’s dream – so fingers crossed for some decent weather for that!

Prom season is fast approaching, with a week of several proms at the beginning of July for us to photograph. They seem to come round quicker each year.  It would be nice to have some good weather for those too (pleeeease!). Last year it poured with rain while we took the outdoor arrival shots at every prom we did, which didn’t make things easy – and such a shame for the students who had to try and avoid getting too soaked in their open top cars and buses etc.  Anyway will post about the proms once done. In the meantime here’s a few recent pics …

It was a glorious day for the wedding at Silks, it’s a place full of character and steeped in history.

Wedding at Silks

Part of the brief at the dentist was to get some arty shots of the wonderful carvings on the building (it was raining of course!)
